A cost accountant by training, sales and marketing professional by choice and an entrepreneur by passion, Narayan has over 26 years of general management, sales & marketing experience. An entrepreneur for the last 19 years, with a strong corporate background, Narayan started his career working in sales and marketing profile across Microsoft, Oracle and Tata.
After working closely with SME segment for more than a decade, he realised that there is a substantial difference in procurement pricing for large enterprises as compared to SMEs. He then co-founded Denave India Pvt Ltd, India's largest technology powered sales enabling services company, where he continues to be a board member.
He spearheaded Denave’s growth over the first 13 years as the CEO of the company before laying the foundation of Power2SME, the first ‘Buying Club’ for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in India. Under his stewardship, Power2SME enjoys a position of prominence in sectors in which it operates. Responsible for the overall profitability and performance of the organization, he has an impressive track record of developing robust business strategies and taking the company to new heights.
Narayan has been honored with many laurels and accolades and he is widely acclaimed for his contribution to the SME sector. Recently declared the Entrepreneur of the Year, Narayan is a recognized thought leader across policy, SME and entrepreneurial platforms. Power2SME was awarded the Forbes India Leadership Award for “Outstanding Startup” in 2018 under his able stewardship. |
